Should I Clean My Coins?
In a
word, No. Never, ever clean your coins. This will
lower their value. Cleaning a coin will never increase the
value of a coin. It does not matter how dirty, ugly,
tarnished, etc., your coins might be, cleaning them WILL
lower their value. Silver coins are NOT like silver
silverware. Cleaned coins are worth far less than
their original counterparts.
