Flying Eagle Cents were produced from 1857 to 1858.  There are several 1956 dated proto-types as well.  The coin gets its name from the flying eagle on the obverse.  Many coins of this type are beat-up, bent, corroded, etc which reduces there value.  Even so, any Flying Eagle cent is worth far more than its face value
